everymorning

I wrote this while intoxicated last night, you might be able to tell....

I have not posted while drunk until now. Laura and I just got home from Myron's. It was quite a time... My 'e' button does not work very well on this laptop.... We hung out at our new place for a while, our new neighbor came up to test the noise level of each of our stereos, which is awesome. Since he can hardly hear a thing, we can turn it up loud now, and enjoy our new home to the fullest.

I am still in the process of reading James Frey's book "A Million Little Pieces" which seems to be describing the state of his career for now. I am discouraged and may not end up reading the rest of it, espescially since I know what happens is not true, but I may try yet. I should be getting to bed, so goodnight everyone. Sleep tight.

you can call me al

Last night Crystal, Noel and I went to the Old Dublin to see Alberto and Kristen before they head off to Spain. We had so much fun sitting around, watching uncle Jean on the dance floor (he said he could not say no to a lady asking him to dance!), and talking to eachother. We even met a bunch of other great people at the bar and one guy turned out to be from Argentina. He and Alberto spent the rest of the night bantering back and forth in their native tongue, and I am so proud of Kristen already for how well she is speaking Spanish.
It was a great night and you can tell the cute couple are so in love and will enjoy themselves wherever they are. I cannot wait to go and visit them and Jennifer over in Europe! Eeeee.

One

I know I should make a seperate page for this, but for now it is all I feel like posting. My favorite song ever:

Is it getting better
Or do you feel the same
Will it make it easier on you now
You got someone to blame
You say...

One love
One life
When it's one need
In the night
One love
We get to share it
Leaves you baby if you
Don't care for it

Did I disappoint you
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
Well it's...

Too late
Tonight
To drag the past out into the light
We're one, but we're not the same
We get to
Carry each other
Carry each other
One...

Have you come here for forgiveness
Have you come to raise the dead
Have you come here to play Jesus
To the lepers in your head

Did I ask too much
More than a lot
You gave me nothing
Now it's all I got
We're one
But we're not the same
Well we
Hurt each other
Then we do it again
You say
Love is a temple
Love a higher law
Love is a temple
Love the higher law
You ask me to enter
But then you make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
To what you got
When all you got is hurt

One love
One blood
One life
You got to do what you should
One life
With each other
Sisters
Brothers
One life
But we're not the same
We get to
Carry each other
Carry each other

One...life

imagine

It is amazing how fast the time goes. Last week at this time we were enjoying tons of food and sweets as well as the presents we had just received. Today, we are recovering from our celebrations of the New Year. Mine was spent with some good friends, laughing and being silly. I tend never to make resolutions at this time of year, I generally try to live well all the time. At this time last year I was helping to build a horse trail using small trees which we had cut down ourselves, and there was a lot of heavy lifting. It was great and I felt so fit. This year I got a Pilates video, mat and workout clothes for Christmas for which I am going to use so that I may get to be as fit as I was last year, maybe more. I guess you could call that a resolution.
Happy New Year!
